The cloth is dense, hardy, and richly textured because the mountains demanded it: high altitude, biting cold, relentless exposure, and the need for something that simply works. You can't separate its character from the landscape and culture that shaped it. The fabric's density, resilience, and texture come straight from the conditions that demanded it: altitude, cold, exposure, and daily use. Its character cannot be separated from the landscape and culture that formed it. Its density, toughness, and texture are not design choices but answers to hard conditions: thin air, bitter cold, and constant exposure. Made to be used, it is inseparable from the land and culture behind it.
